The Governor's commission on
Marriage and Family recently trained 75 individuals across the state to
offer the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program or PREP training
for Free to couples across Utah. Two educators from PERC were trained and
will begin offering the class in early fall.

What is PREP?
PREP (Prevention and
Relationship Enhancement Program) is one of the most comprehensive and
well-respected marriage enhancement programs in the world. PREP is a skill
and principle based curriculum designed to help partners say what they
need to say, get to the heart of their problems, and enhance their marital
bonds.
Who should
Attend? Engaged,
newlywed, or experienced couples. Discussions will focus on factors that
contribute to successful marriages.
Are the
Workshops for couples in trouble?
No. These workshops are not
therapy sessions, but education classes that focus on insights into more
loving and growth filled relationships.

No! In fact, it is discouraged. The workshops will focus on learning and
applying new skills. Problem solving will happen at home after you have
learned the skills, not in the class with everyone else.
